Retreats
KaleidoForest organises special group forest-therapy retreat events a few times each year. These are typically multi-day programs, with various participants ( both mutually acquainted and non-! ) coming together to spend time on Yakushima. During these retreats, you’ll explore and experience a plethora of Yakushima’s natural wonders through the lens of forest therapy and nature-connectedness. Along the way, you’ll make spectacular new connections with like-minded people, as well as perhaps a few new inner discoveries about your own self. Details of past and future retreats can be found here ( Japanese webpage only ).
Retreats can also be arranged privately for individuals, groups, or organisations. Send us an inquiry and we’ll do our best to organise an unforgettable experience for you and your friends, you and your colleagues, you and your team, or whatever motley crew with which you wish to soak up the metamorphic energies of Yakushima.
Professional Development Program
KaleidoForest is excited to announce a new, multi-day Professional Development Program focused on critical and transformative sustainability perspectives.
Whether you’re a professional looking to transform your approach to work and ikigai, or you’re an organisation seeking to evolve with our ever-changing social and environmental world, KaleidoForest is here to help. Our Professional Development Program can equip you with both the tools and the fresh, forward-facing perspectives necessary for building and preserving individual-, organisational-, community-, and planetary health.
Our team, along with our associated guides and collaborators, have between them multiple decades’ worth of experience in a variety of sectors and organisations ranging from education to tourism, corporate business to the United Nations, public health to environmentalism, and beyond. In addition, they carry with them pertinent wisdom gleaned from living and working across more than twenty countries.
No matter your field, the dynamic age we live in—beset as it is with social and environmental challenges—demands a recalibration of how to live, work, and relate to both nature and one another. It also demands transformative action. Let KaleidoForest catalyse these transformations in pursuit of holism, regeneration, and sustainability leadership for you and your organisation. Inquire below.
