[Ended] July 10th: Head to the Sea for a Beach Clean-up & Snorkeling Experience (Pre-Event)

The weather was unstable, but we were able to hold the event as soon as the rain clouds cleared!
Thank you to everyone who participated.

We are now looking for participants for the second pre-experience of the Yakushima Local Experience!

The more people who go in, the cleaner the ocean becomes.Yakushima Water SpiritOur guide is Kyoko from the restaurant.
As this is a pre-event, we will be doing the main beach cleanup plus a special snorkeling experience.
Through picking up trash in the ocean, we will also talk about the environment and life on Yakushima.
It's fun to pick up trash together.
The rainy season is about to end.
Have fun in the beautiful sea!

After cleaning the main beach, we will enjoy snorkeling in the ocean.
We will talk about marine debris and why Kyoko is doing beach cleanups.
We would also appreciate feedback from participants.

*All equipment, including wetsuits, will be rented.

If you would like prescription underwater goggles, please let us know your eyesight.

[What to bring] Don't forget to bring sun protection measures such as a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and hat!
Since you will be picking up trash, wearing gloves will help protect your hands from sunburn.
