He has pursued a career in psychology, anthropology, human ecology, and education.
He traveled from tropical Hawaii to the deserts of North America and the midnight sunshine of Northern Europe for his studies before coming to Yakushima.
Having lived on Yakushima for nearly 10 years, and having accomplished mutually beneficial language exchanges and international exchanges with several generations of elementary and junior high school students as a language teacher, I have been certified as an "ESD Teacher" by Nara University of Education and appointed as an "ESD Global Advisor" by the Yakushima Board of Education, where I conduct classes, training sessions and workshops on the themes of Yakushima-style ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
At Kaleido Forest, I will be in charge of social media launches, translation, product development, visual design, and more as a "concept designer."
