[Spending time in the forests of Yakushima with my 81-year-old mother]
Many of the people who participate in Kaleido Forest's programs are in the medical and welfare fields. This time, a female doctor working in Hokkaido participated with her 81-year-old mother! Even her elderly mother thoroughly enjoyed the deep forest bathing experience. I'll never forget the smile on her face as she snuggled up next to the Yakusugi cedar tree (photo).
We received the following feedback! ................................. ..
"Thank you for the wonderful experience today. My mother was also very happy.
As I spent time surrounded by the sounds of the stream, the scent of cedar, and the chirping of birds, I discovered a new perspective: that nature is watching me.
Like the Yakusugi cedar trees that have lived for over a thousand years, I wanted to live an honest life, unwavering through thick and thin... This determination quietly sprouted in me amidst nature. I was filled with gratitude for the sun, trees, water, and soil that keep me alive.
I also enjoyed the art experience and had the opportunity to connect deeply with nature. Yes, I would recommend it especially to people who feel like life is difficult and people who work busy lives in the city.
